Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview taken together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test or Interview of UCO Bank Recruitment 2010..

(a) The written test will be objective (Sl No 1 to 4) and descriptive type. The questions in objective tests except for the Test of English will be printed in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.The Questions in Descriptive Paper will be printed in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi version.The candidates will have the option to answer the Descriptive paper either in English or Hindi or Official Language of the State/UT for which they have applied. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
The candidates will be required to qualify in each objective test and also in the Descriptive
Paper separately.
(b) The detailed information regarding the Written Test will be given in the booklet which will be sent to the eligible candidates along with the Call Letter for the Test.
(c) Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the merit list will be called for Interview. Mere eligibility/pass in the Test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Final selection shall be made based on the ranking on the aggregate marks obtained in the Written Tests and Interview. Decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final.

The Written test will be tentatively held on Sunday, 14.11.2010 at the following Centres and the address of the Venue will be advised in the Call Letter:
