Recruitment of various posts in Indian Institute of Technology Madras(IITM) 2010

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts:


Chief Medical Officer: 01 post(UR)
Qualification:

• MBBS including completion of Compulsory Rotatory Internship with PostGraduate Degree/Diploma mentioned in Schedule VI of the IMC Act 1956 from a reputed Medical College and a good educational background with at least 15 years professional experience in clinical diagnostic field or equivalent from recognized hospitals.
  
• Experience in running a similar hospital in an Institute/Research Organisation/Industrial township is preferred.
  
• On appointment the CMO will have to reside in the campus.
  
• A license fee free unfurnished accommodation will be provided.
  

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP7600 + NPA plus allowances

Medical Officer: 01 post(OBC)
Qualification:

• MBBS degree of a University recognized by the Indian Medical Council including completion of CRRI followed by at least 3 years of clinical experience in recognized hospitals.
  
• Additional qualifications are desirable
  

Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100+ GP 5400 + NPA plus allowances

Deputy Registrar: 05 posts(1 ST, 1 SC, 1 OBC, 2 UR)
Qualification:

• Master's Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC 7 point scale alongwith
  
• Nine years of experience in educational administration in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education OR
  
• Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
  

Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 + GP7600 plus allowances

Assistant Registrar: 06 posts(2 UR, 1 OBC, 2 SC, 1 ST)
Qualification: Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale with a good academic record and a total of Eight years of relevant administrative experience in Supervisory capacity in a government office/University/Technological institutions or an organization of repute which may include activities related to Administration, Accounting, Purchase, Academics, R & D, Examinations, Student affairs etc.
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 5400 plus allowances

Deputy Systems Engineer/Officer: 03 posts(UR)
Qualification:

• ME/M.Tech. in Computer Science/ECE/EEE/IT and 6 years of experience in IT related positions OR
  
• BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science/ECE/EEE/IT with First class and 8 years of experience in IT related positions. OR
  
• MCA with First class/M.Sc. in Applied Sciences/Mathematics/Physics/ Statistics with First Class and 8 years of experience in IT related positions.
  

Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 6600 plus allowances

Assistant Systems Engineer/Officer: 04 posts(2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science/ECE/EEE/IT with First class and 5 years of experience in IT related positions. OR
MCA with First class/ M.Sc. in Applied Sciences/Mathematics/Physics/ Statistics with First Class and 5 years of experience in IT related positions.
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP 5400 plus allowances

Junior Systems Engineer: 05 posts(2 UR, 1 OBC, 1 SC, 1 ST)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science/ECE/EEE/IT with First class and 2 years of experience in IT related positions. OR
MCA with First class/ M.Sc. in Applied Sciences/Mathematics/Physics/ Statistics with First Class and 2 years of experience in IT related positions.
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP 4200 plus allowances

Security–cum-Fire Officer: 01 post(UR)
Qualification: Graduate with 8 years relevant experience, should have Military or NCC & Fire Fighting training and be able to ride light vehicles/motor cycle and handle fire arms + having sound health and active habits.
Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 + GP5400 plus allowances
