Recruitment of Stipendiary Trainee in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC) Mumbai/Mysore 2010
Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) in BARC, Mysore/Mumbai.
Category-I(Stipendiary Trainee): 25 Posts(SC-3, ST-3, OBC-7, UR-12)
Discipline:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
• Physics

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Licentiate in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering(3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks.
• For Physics: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc(Physics as principal and Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science/Chemistry as subsidiary subjects).
  Age limit: 19 years Minimum and maximum 24 years as on 01.10.2010.

Category-II(Stipendiary Trainee): 51 Posts(SC-8, ST-5, OBC-14, UR–24)
Discipline:

• Chemical Plant operator
• Fitter
• Electrical
• Electronics/Instrumentation
• Machinist

Qualifications:

• HSC(Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects)/SSC with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate PLUS ITI certificate in Chemical Plant Operation/ Fitter/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Machinist.
• The ITI/NCTVT qualification should be either of the following: ITI/NCTVT of 2 years duration OR ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course
• Candidates who have passed HSC(10+2) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for the post of Chemical Plant Operator.
• Candidates applying for Cat-II – Fitter may also be considered for Chemical Plant Operator.

Age limit: 18 years Minimum and maximum 22 years as on 01.10.2010.
