Director (Environment)
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.7,600 on deputation basis.
Eligibility:
a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular badis in the Pay Band of Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and
b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.
Essential:
i) Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering of a Recognised University or equivalent; or
Doctorate Degree in one of the Natural Sciences of a Recognised University or equivalent; or
Master’s Degree in Environmental Science followed by M.Phil Degree/Ph.D. in Environmental Science of a recognised university or equivalent.
ii) 10 years experience in teaching/research in an educational/research organization and/or administrative experience in the field of environment.

ii) 10 years experience in teaching/research in an educational/research organization and/or administrative experience in the field of environment.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (ISTC) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of the applications.
