Eligibility :
(i) The candidate should have possessed a good academic record with at least 55% (50% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19-09- 1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 points scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F at Master’s degree level in the relevant subjects from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
(ii) Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted
by the UGC / CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in concerned subject are exempted from NET.

Instruction to Candidates:
The candidates are directed to send their application duly filled alongwith a Bank Draft of Rs. 1500/- (for SC/ST Rs. 750/- only) to the undersigned payable to the Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya latest by 20th December 2010 directly or through post. Application form should be accompanied by self attested copies of relevant marks sheet / certificate / testimonials. The candidates who are is service must submit their application through proper channel with copy of no-objection certificate from their employer. Application form with requisite fee will be entertained. The envelope must be super scribed with the words “Application for the post of Lecturer in the subject and advertisement No. ……………………. The candidates are directed to send self addressed envelope alongwith the application form. No T.A. / D.A. will be paid for appearing in the interview.
